Nethercote Byre is a large barn conversion set in the heart of Exmoor National Park, Somerset. This is a serious group property the kind of place where everyone actually has space to breathe. Exmoor is one of England's lesser-visited national parks. Expect open moorland, wooded valleys, ancient villages and wild red deer. The landscape here is genuinely spectacular and very different from the busier tourist spots further west.

The property offers multiple bedrooms across a well-converted barn layout. Spacious open-plan living and dining areas give the whole group room to gather. Multiple bathrooms reduce the morning queues. Bedrooms are a mix of doubles and twins making it flexible for different group types.

Dunster Castle (6 miles / 12 mins) is a must. Exmoor Zoo (8 miles / 15 mins) works well for families. Lynmouth (14 miles / 25 mins) offers coastal walks and boat trips. Tarr Steps ancient clapper bridge (10 miles / 20 mins) is worth the drive.
