What a lovely house. Plenty of space for all of us 7 adults and 5 children. Couldn't have asked for anything more other than better weather. Amazing location, peaceful and lovely to wake up to the birds singing. Lots to do without having to travel too far. Would fully recommend it. Nempett house was a beautiful property and provided to ideal location for us as a family to get together. The photographs of the property do not do it enough justice and we were pleasantly surprised with what the property had to offer upon arrival.
Fabulous place. 200 year old farmhouse tastefully modernised. Spacious and comfortable, well equipped, with enough to do to keep all the family happy. Only 2 miles from airport but very quiet and peaceful, beautiful countryside. Ideal place to relax and unwind.

I booked Nempnett Farmhouse to celebrate a birthday and the house was perfect. It comfortably accommodated 12 people its more spacious than it appears in the photos! The hot tub and games room were very much enjoyed and there is lots to do in the surrounding areas. It was also the cleanest holiday property Ive ever stayed in. Meg was incredibly helpful and always quick to answer any questions. Would absolutely recommend for groups of family or friends.
I wish to highly commend the owners for their prompt action regarding the broken boiler. They acted quickly to provide 11 portable oil electrical radiators and lot of logs for the fire in the living room. Also ensured the emergency electric water heating system was activated inmediate. These solutions, were very efficient at warming up the house, enabling us to enjoy our stay. Plus, the hot water didn't run out, even with 12 of us. We had a very nice time for new year and the 80th birthday of my husband. Marita
Our family 8 adults and 4 Children spent a brilliant Christmas week at Nempnett Farmhouse. The owner made us feel welcome and were very accommodating without being intrusive. The house itself is large but without losing its cosy feeling and is very well equipped. The log burner was excellent warming the sitting room perfectly. The games barn was located in a double garage adjacent to the house and contained pool, table tennis and darts which were all well used. The house is ideally located for exploring the Mendip Hills and Chew Valley and Blagdon Lakes. Those who like bird watching can obtain a permit from Bristol Water that allows access to areas of the lakes that are not open to the general public. This is a simple online process. The Turkey purchased from the owners farm was a triumph. I cannot extol the virtues of Nempnett Farmhouse enough. A fabulous stay and we would certainly return in the future.
What a beautifully cosy and stunning home! We felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment we arrived, and we would definitely recommend it. There are just a few points worth mentioning. We visited in November and found the games room extremely cold, as there was no heating, which limited how much time we could enjoy it. We also ran out of gas for the cooker in the middle of preparing a special anniversary meal for my parents, and it took a while to get it resolved, which was quite stressful. Lastly, we were disappointed that the amount of firewood provided wasnt enough for the duration of our stay. Considering the cost of the booking, we felt that additional logs for the nights we had already paid for should have been included rather than charged extra. Overall, its a wonderful place, but addressing these points would make the experience even better.

Nempnett Farm was a cozy and luxurious stay. From being a perfect location for days out to having everything you need for a fun family day at home. Meg and family went above and beyond, from little chocolates on the pillows, to birthday banners for our occasion. They really made us feel special. The house is simply stunning. Nempnett Farmhouse was spotless, spacious and extremely well equipped the perfect holiday house for our multigenerational family trip. We couldnt have been more comfortable on the highend furniture, the amazingly well stocked kitchen was perfect we didnt want for any appliance or utensil!, and the bathrooms were beautifully appointed too. We had space to both spread out and also to come together as a family and the games room and hot tub were also a brilliant bonus. Meg was a fantastic host, really responsive and friendly, and the little extras left in the house on arrival were a lovely touch. As a large family group with a wide range of ages, we spent most of the weekend complimenting the accommodation. Meg texted on the morning of our arrival and left a lovely personal message celebrating my mums birthday. We were assured that nothing would be any trouble and if needed anything at all, we just needed to ask. We didnt have to ask for anything. Our stay at Nempnett Farmhouse was absolutely fantastic. Absolutely beautiful farmhouse, lovingly renovated to a high standard. Very thoughtful little touches like homemade muffins apon arrival. Book with helpful tips on what to do in the area, shops etc. Well supplied kitchen for making meals. Well secured garden for dogs so my fur babies couldn't go off for their own holiday somewhere. The owners were very quick to respond and rectify any issues. Absolutely Beautiful setting, so scenic and quiet. It is very much in the countryside so prepared for the very narrow country roads!

Lovely farmhouse slept all eleven of us comfortably. Perfect location for peace and quiet but not too far from Bristol, Bath or Weston Super Mare. Nice selection of toys for our children, wonderful garden, comfortable beds, good showers... The only thing we'd have added would be a parasol on the patio. We had a lovely family stay. The house was immaculate! Meg was communicative and helpful sourced an extra highchair for us before the stay and stair gates. The house had everything we needed and more. The selection of toys was lovely, we neednt have packed any!! We were lucky enough to get a look round the farm, which was a real highlight and the kids loved it. Brilliant owners, couldn't fault anything! The kids loved to play in the garden. What a fab time we all had, all 11 of us and what an amazing property it was. So much space for all of us and an absolutely fabulous well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was enjoyed by all and the games room was a fantastic bonus for everyone, well chilled Sunday had by all of us playing pool, table tennis and darts and the hot tub! The only downside was only booking for the weekend we were all so sad to leave on the Monday. The cake on arrival was a lovely touch for the hubbys special birthday, and knowing the owners were only a text message away if needed was lovely to know. A superb farmhouse. Everything was perfect. We stayed for a week with a mixture of friends and families and we all had a wonderful time. Nempnett farmhouse is such a fantastic place to stay, the photos just dont do it justice! Meg was a fantastic host and extremely welcoming she even put up a birthday banner and lovely message after finding out we were there for a birthday celebration which was a really lovely touch. The house was huge but also felt very homely and extremely well looked after, everything was clean, and the facilities and location were both great. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough!
The farmhouse is fabulous the owner Meg has thought of everything, the farmhouse caters for young children so well the toy cupboard is stocked with toys also lots of books and board games for children and adults. We stayed with 4 generations of our family from 18 months to 88 years! The hot tub was a firm favourite and the outside space was great with climbing frame and slide and a lovey touch was the homemade cakes! A personal birthday message was left on the blackboard which was great! The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate, five star cleanliness throughout the whole house. Games room was a bonus. Meg was easily contactable and responded by return if you had any questions. Would 100 recommend this house for all age groups. A stay with lots of family memories made!
Nempnett Farmhouse is absolutely beautiful and we could not have wished for a better place to celebrate my special birthday with family. The fresh milk and muffins were delicious and the extra touches like the birthday banner and the bottle of bubbly and lovely message just added to a perfect weekend. The house is so well equipped, the beds amazingly comfortable and the living room and dining room were perfect. The kitchen has everything you could need too. The highlight for my grandsons was the hot tub and games room. We have enjoyed a wonderful weekend together many thanks indeed.

We would highly recommend Nempnett Farmhouse! It's the perfect get away, in a beautiful area. On arrival we were greeted with a personal message and delicious muffins. We explored the local area using the maps provided, found the pub which was recommend by Meg, relaxed in the hot tub & garden, cooked in the well equipped kitchen, ate plenty of food in the spacious dining room, played games in lounge, and slept well in the comfortable beds! Everything was perfect, thank you!

The most comfortable and spacious house we have stayed in so far. Great WiFi and bandwidth for 8 users, the hot tub was a highlight and much used. The owner left a personal message and cupcakes, which were much appreciated and was always available to answer any queries. Beautiful situation in easy reach of many days out. Recommend visiting Wake the Tiger, We the Curious explore science in a fun way and Wookey Hole, amongst many days out.. Every one from 92 to 7 months had a brilliant time. Best recycling facilities in any holiday property so far and best games room.

This is a wonderful place to stay with a lot of character and charm. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, and a large sitting room and kitchen. The garden is well laid out, very secure, with a climbing frame and a slide for children. There were fourteen of us including six toddlers all aged under four and it was a real pleasure to spend time in both the house and garden. Meg went great lengths to make us feel at home, with home made cakes, milk in the fridge, and a welcome message on the blackboard. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The farmhouse is set in beautiful countryside but within reach of the coast and towns like Glastonbury and Wells. It is an excellent place to stay and we thoroughly recommend it.
