I booked Nempnett Farmhouse to celebrate a birthday and the house was perfect. It comfortably accommodated 12 people its more spacious than it appears in the photos! The hot tub and games room were very much enjoyed and there is lots to do in the surrounding areas. It was also the cleanest holiday property Ive ever stayed in. Meg was incredibly helpful and always quick to answer any questions. Would absolutely recommend for groups of family or friends.

I wish to highly commend the owners for their prompt action regarding the broken boiler. They acted quickly to provide 11 portable oil electrical radiators and lot of logs for the fire in the living room. Also ensured the emergency electric water heating system was activated inmediate. These solutions, were very efficient at warming up the house, enabling us to enjoy our stay. Plus, the hot water didn't run out, even with 12 of us. Our family 8 adults and 4 Children spent a brilliant Christmas week at Nempnett Farmhouse. The owner made us feel welcome and were very accommodating without being intrusive. The house itself is large but without losing its cosy feeling and is very well equipped. The log burner was excellent warming the sitting room perfectly. The games barn was located in a double garage adjacent to the house and contained pool, table tennis and darts which were all well used. The house is ideally located for exploring the Mendip Hills and Chew Valley and Blagdon Lakes. Those who like bird watching can obtain a permit from Bristol Water that allows access to areas of the lakes that are not open to the general public. This is a simple online process. The Turkey purchased from the owners farm was a triumph. I cannot extol the virtues of Nempnett Farmhouse enough. A fabulous stay and we would certainly return in the future.

What a beautifully cosy and stunning home! We felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment we arrived, and we would definitely recommend it. There are just a few points worth mentioning. We visited in November and found the games room extremely cold, as there was no heating, which limited how much time we could enjoy it. We also ran out of gas for the cooker in the middle of preparing a special anniversary meal for my parents, and it took a while to get it resolved, which was quite stressful. Lastly, we were disappointed that the amount of firewood provided wasnt enough for the duration of our stay. Considering the cost of the booking, we felt that additional logs for the nights we had already paid for should have been included rather than charged extra. Overall, its a wonderful place, but addressing these points would make the experience even better.

As a large family group with a wide range of ages, we spent most of the weekend complimenting the accommodation. What a fab time we all had, all 11 of us and what an amazing property it was. So much space for all of us and an absolutely fabulous well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was enjoyed by all and the games room was a fantastic bonus for everyone, well chilled Sunday had by all of us playing pool, table tennis and darts and the hot tub! The only downside was only booking for the weekend we were all so sad to leave on the Monday. The cake on arrival was a lovely touch for the hubbys special birthday, and knowing the owners were only a text message away if needed was lovely to know. Nempnett farmhouse is such a fantastic place to stay, the photos just dont do it justice! Meg was a fantastic host and extremely welcoming she even put up a birthday banner and lovely message after finding out we were there for a birthday celebration which was a really lovely touch. The house was huge but also felt very homely and extremely well looked after, everything was clean, and the facilities and location were both great. I couldnt recommend this place highly enough!

The farmhouse is fabulous the owner Meg has thought of everything, the farmhouse caters for young children so well the toy cupboard is stocked with toys also lots of books and board games for children and adults. We stayed with 4 generations of our family from 18 months to 88 years! The hot tub was a firm favourite and the outside space was great with climbing frame and slide and a lovey touch was the homemade cakes! A personal birthday message was left on the blackboard which was great! The bedrooms and bathrooms were immaculate, five star cleanliness throughout the whole house. Games room was a bonus. Meg was easily contactable and responded by return if you had any questions. Would 100 recommend this house for all age groups. A stay with lots of family memories made!

We would highly recommend Nempnett Farmhouse! It's the perfect get away, in a beautiful area. On arrival we were greeted with a personal message and delicious muffins. We explored the local area using the maps provided, found the pub which was recommend by Meg, relaxed in the hot tub & garden, cooked in the well equipped kitchen, ate plenty of food in the spacious dining room, played games in lounge, and slept well in the comfortable beds! The most comfortable and spacious house we have stayed in so far. Great WiFi and bandwidth for 8 users, the hot tub was a highlight and much used. The owner left a personal message and cupcakes, which were much appreciated and was always available to answer any queries. Beautiful situation in easy reach of many days out. Recommend visiting Wake the Tiger, We the Curious explore science in a fun way and Wookey Hole, amongst many days out.. Every one from 92 to 7 months had a brilliant time. Best recycling facilities in any holiday property so far and best games room.

This is a wonderful place to stay with a lot of character and charm. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, and a large sitting room and kitchen. The garden is well laid out, very secure, with a climbing frame and a slide for children. There were fourteen of us including six toddlers all aged under four and it was a real pleasure to spend time in both the house and garden. Meg went great lengths to make us feel at home, with home made cakes, milk in the fridge, and a welcome message on the blackboard. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The farmhouse is set in beautiful countryside but within reach of the coast and towns like Glastonbury and Wells. It is an excellent place to stay and we thoroughly recommend it.
