Whites Meadow Reviews

A large old slightly scarred farm house. All rooms a decent size. WiFi should be updated. Other than that a very nice place to spend in the Somerset sun.
This property is quaint and quirky. Very old and comfortable. Would love to go back and stay again. Ideal for bigger parties. We cannot fault white meadow.
Victoria
We loved this cottage, it was comfortable and we felt at home. It was blissfully cool inside during the heat we had this June. Easy to get to the coast or to shops. Personally I loved the wildlife, birds and the views visible from the bouse. Recommend the pub, we ate there on a Thursday evening, the food was very good. If you are there on the last Thursday of the month there is a quiz at the pub. Very enjoyable.
Spacious cottage, great location for exploring the Quantocks. Cottage interior could do with some redecoration. However this didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the holiday.

This was a great place to stay. Close enough to a local pub serving good food albeit open sporadically and Wiiliton local shops such as Spar, Coop and a great Indian takeaway. WiFi a bit hit and miss, but that's not what you're really there for. Also great for walking the Quantock Hills maps in the house. Great for staying with dogs but, to be picky, a more secure front gate would be great to feel more confident that they can't escape!. All in all, a great place to get away for a few days.
Whites Meadow is a large, old, very comfortable family home. There may be some battered paintwork but the bedding and beds were immaculate and very comfortable. There was everything you could need in the kitchen and a freezer and second large fridge in the utility room. There was a washing machine but drying our bits was more difficult as it had to be done inside on an inside line. The house was cold when we arrived but once we put the heating onto boost it soon warmed up. In Dummer the garden and sitting out areas would be wonderful. Only warning is don't microwave anything for too long ! For the first time ever I burnt a casserole I was reheating ! Would tho

Everything was brilliant the WiFi was the only draw back for evenings
It was a lovely homely place to stay, needed a bit of TLC but that actually made us relax more as werent fretting about the dog leaving a mark. Beautiful location, had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it. Loved walking up the hill behind
A lovely cottage in a stunningly beautiful area. Really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return.
A spacious and well equipped house for a multigenerational holiday.
This is a lovely place to stay in the middle of a gorgeous little village full of thatched cottages. It also has fantastic views of the Quantocks at the back. The house is large and comfortable and has housemartins in the eaves. We heard an owl on the first night too. There are also beautiful artworks in every room and it was like living in a gallery! We didnt use the pub as we tried to book for a roast on Sunday but it was full, so perhaps book before you get there.
The property was very tired needs a deep clean and tlc
Fabulous. The house is amazing. One of the best we've stayed in. Wonderful views over the quantock hills. Extremely well equipped. Our working cocker spaniel loved it, but unfortunately the garden was not secure enough for her! It would be ok for a larger dog. A lot more space than mentioned including a downstairs loo a bonus. Great walking country
The Whites Meadow experience was perfect in every way. The house is spacious, bright and very comfortable. The landscape is beautiful and the village is charming. We will return.
Second time we have stayed and love it. ...gorgeous house, garden and village . Lovely walks and beaches nearby for dogs and kids . The Star in Watchet is lovely for meals !!
Lovely situation. Great property for us and the dogs. A shame the garden isn't completely dog proof but a great garden.
