Tree of Life House Reviews

We had a great stay here. Perfect for the 10 of us 3 generations! Excellent location within 10 mins walk to the centre and attractions. Very comfortable accommodation and appreciated the little touches! Many thanks!
The house was gorgeous and exceeded all our expectations! Much bigger than expected, beautifully presented, clean, very well kitted out the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The beds were extremely comfy. Plenty of parking on the driveway we had 5 mediumlarge size vehicles and still had room. Great location. Lovely feel and energy to the house too. The property was perfect in every way. I cant wait to stay again!

We loved the house, very comfy, cozy and with ample common spaces to chat and dine. The kitchen was wonderful too. And the garden was such a delight. We would just like to bring to attention that we had problems with the dish washer the lower tray had one wheel missing and it was falling to one side not allowing us to use it if full and the dryingwashing machine it didnt dry clothes and most days it was raining so couldnt put clothes out to dry. Cleaning should also be better taken care of, we found cobwebs in lamps, garden chairs and corners. But overall our experience was wonderful and would repeat again.
Excellent location. Lovely house. Great for a large group. We love Glastonbury
Very nice house and very kindle propietaris, I like soo much is my second time here. I retorn soon
Bonita y confortable Bien situada. Gracias
We booked the house for my daughter's 40th birthday celebrations. 2 under 10s, a 15year old in wheelchair, 7 adults. It couldn't have been more perfect. Spacious, well equipped, loved the table tennis and fab having en suites for all. So close to town and all the sights Glastonbury had to offer.

Very nice property but has a few faults. 1. cold and draughty house. conservatory has a draft coming in and down your back. windows especially room 2 has window seals perished so allows draft and noise in 2. showers need attention especially attic room. was published in folder but shouldn't be like that needs a good maintenance through out to bring up to spec
Stewart
Lots of room for the eight of us. The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery, crockery etc. Loved the Neff up & over oven. The circuit breaker tripped a few times when the dishwasher was used. The house is in a great position to walk to town & to the Tor. There's some road noise, but that's not an issue. The towels were lovely & thick & white. & the sheets were nice & crisp. Very good.

We and our seminar participants felt very comfortable in the house. It is lovingly furnished and the garden invites you to linger. It was a pity that the rooms and especially the dishes were not really clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, the windows were dirty and we had to wash all the dishes again before we could use them. A small note the fuse kept blowing as soon as the light was on in the room on the first floor and several rooms on the second floor had their lights switched on. Basically, the Tree of Life House is a beautiful vacation home that impresses with its proximity and location to the city center and also to the Chalice Well Garden, the White Spring and the Tor. We felt very comfortable and could overlook the small blemishes. Our little highlight was the elf house.
Rachel
The house is beautiful has pretty much everything you need and more. One suggestion would be to take the wood fence away at the top of the hedge as its difficult to see whats coming along the road when leaving the drive although this didnt ruin our holiday at all. Another issue we had was with the washer dryer we couldnt get it to dry no matter what program we used and the weather was against us so found it difficult. Again this didnt ruin the stay for us just an observation. Would recommend this beautiful huge house for anyone wanting to stay in Glastonbury area.
Alison
Lovely house with comfortable rooms , nice kitchen and a beautiful yard. We loved the location which was ideal to walk to town or the Tor. The upstairs bedroom on third floor was a good size and would have been better for 2 or 3 twin beds rather than the double with jumper beds just an idea for the owner.
Angela
The Tree of Life cotrage is huge and we had plenty of space. Centrally located in Glastonbury and within 5mins walk of the main town. 10mins drive to the Clarks Designer outlet, 20mins drive to Wells, 40mins to Longleat etc. Fantastic base for getting out and about, as everything is relatively close by. The house itself looks a lot better in the pictures, as some of it needs tlc. Overall a nice place to stay, but could do with some maintenance.
Second time we have stayed and not been disappointed. Enough of everything to cope with 9 people from the dining room, lounge area and bedrooms & bathrooms. Good pubs, restaurants and takeaways within easy walking distance.
Lovely clean, comfortable, well equipped house. Good parking and central for many walks and trips out.
Adrian
Great property for a group booking. Really comfortable beds and great showers. Fireplace meant we could sit outside in Winter and table tennis was great fun. Location is excellent, easy to walk into town or up the Tor!
A very comfortable house, and ideal for several generations of adults 2889 staying together. Extremely well equipped and clean. Lovely to have a few provisions in.

Certainly, here's your feedback for the cottage We had a fantastic stay at the cottage! The location was perfect, with easy access to the town and all the main attractions in Glastonbury. The house itself was lovely and cozy, making our group of 12 people feel right at home. A special highlight was the delightful little treat we found in the fridge a thoughtful touch that added to our overall enjoyment of the stay. Thank you for making our trip memorable! Joanna x

We really enjoyed our stay. Each bedroom having an ensuite was a really bonus and having a table with enough chairs for everyone was a big plus. The garden is spacious and well kept and secure for the dog, and the drawer of doggy stuff in the laundry is a nice touch. Very nice property and an easy walk into Glastonbury.

There was 9 of us plus a baby and a dog, and we all had plenty of room and didn't feel constantly on top of each other. The garden was a nice size and completley enclosed which was perfect for the dog. The house was lovely and within easy walking distance to everything. We had a wonderful time and plan on booking again. Will be letting firends know about this place as a wonderful homely place to go for a break.

We loved everything about the house, it was clean and comfortable, and the tree ... We loved everything about the house, it was clean and comfortable, and the tree of life was amazing, and so near all amenities, everyone loved it, we had a maintenance problem on Sunday and it was dealt with in an hour and Trevor came back next morning to finish the job with no disruption to us, thank you for a wonderful holiday, would love to go again,
Tree of Life House is practically perfect in every way. Close to the town centre with comfortable furnishings, a beautiful, tranquil walled garden, and 5 ensuite rooms, it suited our party very well. We will definitely return and certainly recommend to friends and anyone else who would like to stay in Glastonbury. The housekeeper was also very helpful. Points to note we couldn't get the microwave to work, the towel rail in the attic room would not turn off, and more than 3 pint glasses were needed by our party which included 5 men! None of these things spoilt our stay though.
I loved coming back to the Tree of Life house, as I was there first 6 months before. I love the house, the beautiful garden, the living room, all the facilities. We cought some colder days this time and it took about 12 days to really feel the house warming. Two set of keys would be helpful for more visitors but we managed well also with the key safe. Overall, I loved it there and I'll definitely come back again!
Really enjoyable stay, catered well for 9 people including ample parking. Good location with easy access to the high street and long walks into the countryside. From a maintenance perspective a couple of the bathroom taps drip over the surrounding surface when turned off and this is causing damage to the surrounding surface. The door from the conservatory into the garden has to be lifted slightly to close it. Both will be more costly to repair if left.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage but we were rather surprised to see as soon as we entered a notice saying Breakages will be charged at 15 per item. Quiteset the tone for our return . We have stayed at quite a few Sykes Cottages over the years and we were quite surprised to receive negative feedback from the owner. When we arrived we discovered that a wooden chair was broken and the dishwasher tablet dispenser was also broken . We are told that a new dishwasher door is required and suitable recompense will be needed for the wooden chair . We were also verbally slapped on the wrist for not disposing of our rubbish in the correct manner although we believed that we had done so according to the owners manual. We will not be returning. Now b

We stayed here for a week as a whole family. The new managers have taken over since we booked. We had problems with hot water but the maintenance team came straight out and got us up and running. The building is in need of some TLC and this has been recognised. The location is great for visiting Glastonbury town with lots of bars and restaurants. The Heating seemed to have a mind of its own. My mom gets very cold due to being poorly and it seemed like a constant battle to get heat. There were plenty of blow air heaters though to assist. I would recommend this holiday.
House was great. Fantastic facilities so everyone in our group had their own bathroom. Extremely well equipped, very clean and in great location for Glastonbury town centre and the Tor. Couple of things that could have made it even betterradiators in two of the bedrooms were off when we arrived so took a while to warm up on first night but extra electric heaters were appreciated. Bathroom sink tap design was poor as most ended up dripping. Sink in room 1 was very small considering size of room and water pressureso regularly got soaked
Really lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone who is likely for a property in the area. Great location for Glastonbury town.
We spent a great weekend at this cottage with extended family. The house was well equipped with lovely bedrooms, all ensuite, and the kitchen and dining areas allowed us to have some nice family meals. The garden was lovely and perfect for Easter egg hunts. The kids also enjoyed the games room. The location in central Glastonbury was also good. The only minor niggles were the bathroom taps which were fancylooking but impractical, and also there was a problem with the hot water running out in the top bedroom. But we had a wonderful stay and I would be happy to recommend it.
